Calling Evil Good

I woke up early this morning and the Lord said to me not to call evil good. I looked up the verse where this is located in the Bible and it is found in Isaiah 5:20. This verse says, “Woe to those who call evil good.”

We need to understand that there is evil and there is good. There is right and there is wrong. There is a value system and belief system that every human being needs to follow and it is found in the Word of God. The Bible declares what is evil and good and what is right or wrong. The Bible is the belief system we are to follow as Christ followers. You see, the Bible was written by God, is infallible and absolute truth for our families, marriages, society, government, the workplace and our own personal lives. People may be saying that there is no absolute truth today. But there is absolute truth. I will prove it to you. Two plus two is 4. The capital of Florida is Tallahassee. These are obvious examples, but they are still examples of absolute truth. So absolute truth does exist and absolute truth includes the Bible. An enemy of absolute truth is relativism which states that whatever people believe and whatever their belief system is, that is fine. So whatever people believe, whether good or bad, terrible or fantastic, it is fine. So everyone can have a different value system and belief system and whatever anyone believes is okay even if it goes against the Word of God. But relativism is wrong, a lie from the enemy and only the Word of God is right for our nation and culture. Do you want to know what right and wrong is? It is found in the Word of God. Do you want to know what the proper worldview is? It is found in there Word of God. Do you want to know what the right belief and value system is? It is found in the Word of God. Therefore, do not call evil good. Do not call what is wrong right. Find out what God’s righteous standard is by reading the Word and knowing what the Bible states. And then follow that righteous standard for your life.
